Racism and political shifts in Canada are emerging as important factors for Indian students to consider when planning their overseas education. Over my 27 years of consulting, I've seen that being forewarned is key to effectively navigating such challenges. While Canada remains a popular destination due to its quality of education and multicultural promise, understanding that there are systemic issues to contend with is crucial. My recommendation is clear: do your homework about the social and political climate at your potential institutions, and don't hesitate to seek out support systems in advance. This awareness empowers students to make informed decisions that align with their personal and academic growth aspirations.
