To cancel or reschedule your TOEFL test, please ensure that you make changes at least four full days before your scheduled test date. Please note that rescheduling through mail, email, or at the test centre is not permitted.
To reschedule, you have two options:
Contact your Regional Registration Centre directly. For India, dial 91-124-4147700. Provide your full name and appointment number to initiate the process.
Alternatively, you can log in to your ETS account online and reschedule your upcoming test from there.
Please be aware that a fee of US$60 is applicable for rescheduling your test date.
TOEFL Registration Deadlines and Special Processing Requests
TOEFL Regular Registration requires the test taker to book their TOEFL exam at least 7 (seven) days before the test date.
TOEFL Late registration is when an examinee has reserved their TOEFL test only 2 (two) days before the test and is subject to an additional fee of $40.
Changing the schedule of the TOEFL test is when the relevant institutions are notified at least 4 (four) days before the change in the schedule of the TOEFL test. There is also a TOEFL surcharge of $60 for this. Applicants often have to use special ETS services. Applicants can check the Special Processing Application Fees mentioned in the table below.
