Keep a vigilant eye on upcoming visa policy changes, as these will dictate the logistical feasibility of studying in Indonesia. While this opportunity offers potentially less competition, it’s imperative to understand the career prospects and global recognition of degrees from Indonesian institutions. What I tell my students is to consider such destinations not merely as alternatives but as primary choices, contingent upon meticulously researched educational and professional pathways. With a thoughtful approach, this could indeed be an enriching, less trodden path to academic and personal growth.
